JON CHERRY
PRESIDENT, CEO & DIRECTOR

Jon Cherry was appointed President and CEO of Perpetua Resources and joined the Board of Directors effective March 14, 2024. Mr. Cherry joins Perpetua Resources with over 33 years of extensive mining industry experience including permitting, capital raising, project development, joint venture formation and operations. He most recently served as Chairman, President, and CEO of PolyMet Mining. During his tenure at PolyMet, the NorthMet project received the highest rating the Environmental Protection Agency has ever given to a mining project.

Additionally, Mr. Cherry played a leading role in negotiating a joint venture with Teck Resources before PolyMet’s sale to Glencore. Before PolyMet, Mr. Cherry served as a senior leader for the multi-billion Resolution Copper JV Project (owned by Rio Tinto and BHP), General Manager of Rio Tinto’s Eagle Mine (the United States of America’s only primary nickel-copper mine) and Senior Project Engineer at Rio Tinto Kennecott Utah Copper. Mr. Cherry will lead the Perpetua Resources team as the Stibnite Gold Project completes permitting and transitions into development and operations.

MARK MURCHISON
CFO

Mark Murchison brings over 25 years of experience in the metals and mining industry, including seven years as Chief Financial Officer of Alacer Gold and 12 years in various financial leadership roles at Rio Tinto. Mr. Murchison most recently served as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary at US Vanadium since 2022, a private vanadium producer based in Arkansas. Mr. Murchison has significant experience in capital project management, including raising project finance and managing capital allocation and planning for a $750-million autoclave expansion at the Alacer mine in Turkey. During his tenure, Alacer completed a strategic merger with SSR Mining to create an intermediate, diversified gold producer.

Alan Haslam
Senior Vice President, Permitting

As VP of permitting for Perpetua Resources, Alan is thrilled to help Perpetua Resources restore the site and bring hundreds of new jobs to Idaho. He is a geologist by trade, but over the course of his career he has successfully permitted, developed and managed mining projects not only in Idaho but also throughout North America. He holds more than 30 years of mining and permitting experience, having spent much of his career working in the phosphate patches of southeast Idaho. As a native Idahoan, it is no surprise that Alan loves spending time outside. You will often find him exploring the state’s deserts and pine forests, elk hunting during bow season, dirt biking and camping in the warm months and snowmobiling during the winter. Alan and his wife Leisa have been married for more than 25 years and are the proud parents of two sons.

Mckinsey Lyon
Senior Vice President, External Affairs

Whether navigating complicated public policy issues or managing a complex issue in the public arena, Mckinsey leads public affairs practices with a unique interdisciplinary fluency in government relations, social license development, stakeholder engagement, messaging, and media communications. Before joining Perpetua Resources, Mckinsey was a partner at Gallatin Public Affairs where she helped clients achieve business goals by integrating strategies across multiple platforms. As VP of External Affairs, Mckinsey leads the direct advocacy and social license development for the Stibnite Gold Project. After 6 years of consulting for the company, Mckinsey joined the team in 2017 because she believes that Perpetua is set to lead the way into the next generation of mining that will bring forward the responsible production of the metals and minerals that are essential for a more sustainable future. Mckinsey is a fifth-generation Idahoan who grew up exploring Idaho’s wild places with her family. With the help of her husband, she is instilling her love for Idaho’s rich and diverse landscapes in their three young children.

Jim Norine
Senior Vice President, Projects

Jim Norine has over 25 years of experience in project construction and engineering, delivering large-scale projects throughout the United States and internationally. Mr. Norine brings a track-record of success in delivering multiple mining and processing projects. Before joining Perpetua, Mr. Norine served as Regional Director, Metals, Western (USA) at Hatch Engineering, Ltd., a global multidisciplinary management, engineering and development consultancy firm. Most recently in his time at Hatch, Mr. Norine served in the role of the Project Director for delivery of the Engineering and Procurement of the Hermosa Project in Arizona under an integrated delivery method. Previously in his career, Mr. Norine held positions at Ausenco Engineering USA, as Vice President Southwest USA, Sundt Construction as Senior Project Manager and at M3 Engineering as Project Manager. He holds a professional engineering license (PE) in the state of Idaho.

Tim Kahl
Senior Vice President, Technical Services

Tim Kahl joined Perpetua in December 2025 as Senior Vice President Technical Services after serving as a consultant to Perpetua for nearly two years as the operations lead and subject matter expert for processing and Pressure Oxidation. Tim brings over 30 years of experience in design, construction, commissioning, and operating complex mining and process operations. Throughout his career in North and South America, Mr. Kahl has stewarded projects through construction, commissioning, and into operations and brings invaluable operational readiness experience with both precious and base metals operations. He was most recently the General Manager Operations for Peñasquito (Newmont) in Mexico, and the Process Manager for Pueblo Viejo (Barrick) in the Dominican Republic.

Dustin Rissmiller
Vice President, Human Resources

Dustin Rissmiller, Perpetua’s Vice President of Human Resources, brings vast experience in building and managing teams across mining and energy projects in domestic and international settings. Mr. Rissmiller’s years of experience in talent acquisition will lend immediate value to Perpetua as the Company grows its team to meet the demands of construction.

Joe Fazzini
Vice President, Investor Relations

Joe Fazzini, CA, CPA, CFA joins the Perpetua team as Vice President of Investor Relations after 15 years working in both corporate and capital markets roles. Mr. Fazzini brings a diverse background including institutional equity sales, mining equity research and executive management roles at mineral development companies across the Americas. Given his extensive experience in investor engagement and equity sales, Joe’s focus is on direct engagement with global institutional and retail investors.
